Macy's Annual Tree Lighting - The holiday tradition continues!

Don't miss Macy's Annual Tree Lighting on Friday, November 28 outside in Downtown Crossing on our Summer Street stage, 5pm, to catch performances by dynamic contemporary Latino pop group Menudo, cast members from North Shore Music Theatre's Disney High School Musical 2, dancers from Boston Ballet's The Nutcracker, and the Boston Children's Chorus. And of course, it's the season's official arrival of Santa Claus, who will "flip the switch" with Mayor Thomas M. Menino to illuminate the tree!

American Repertory Theatre presents the family holiday show Aurélia’s Oratorio

The American Repertory Theatre (A.R.T.) is pleased to welcome the return, in time for the holidays, of the brilliant artist Aurélia Thierrée in Aurélia’s Oratorio, written and directed by Victoria Thierrée Chaplin, presented at the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Harvard Square, Cambridge. Governor Patrick set green building goals

Bush aprobaría extensión de beneficios de desempleo

El Boston Globe reporta que el presidente Bush podría firmar un proyecto de ley que ofrecería más beneficios a los ciudadanos desempleados. Si se llega a concretar el proyecto, las personas desempleadas contarían con 13 semanas extra de cheques por concepto de seguro de desempleo.

A.R.T./MXAT Institute for Advanced Theatre Training presents Largo Desolato

The American Repertory Theatre/Moscow Art Theatre Institute for Advanced Theatre Training presents its third production of the 2008-09 season: Vaclav Havel’s Largo Desolato, directed by Jonathan Carr, and performed by the Institute Class of 2009.
