The Samuel Adams Microloan Fund at ACCION USA
Through charitable support from The Boston Beer Company and partners, this fund provides business loans for food and beverage microentrepreneurs who are unable to access conventional financing. Free Financial Literacy Seminar – Money Management & Accessing CreditThis Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream Financial Literacy seminar will help microentrepreneurs better understand credit and provide valuable money management tips. Taught in English and Spanish by ACCION USA’s microfinance professionals and members of The Boston Beer team, this workshop will help participants understand the importance of credit management, how to build credit, how the current national credit crisis could affect their businesses and what steps they can take to remain stable.

Free Business Literacy Workshop – Marketing, Product Packaging & Distribution
This Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream Business Literacy workshop will provide a small group of food and beverage entrepreneurs with the opportunity to meet one-on-one and in small groups with the Boston Beer Company’s marketing, packaging, public relations, and sales experts. Using a “speed coaching” format, microentre-preneurs can get practical advice and guidance on their businesses.

Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream is the Boston Beer Company’s philanthropic program that supports lower to moderate income food and beverage microentrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to become financially independent business owners and pursue their craft. In partnership with ACCION USA, we assist the “smallest of small businesses” whose owners often face obstacles to success including limited access to capital and networks; few mentors; and little formal training.
